Pilar Murube was born in Seville, Spain, and completed her ballet training at the John Cranko School in Stuttgart before moving in a contemporary direction as a dancer with Marco Santi. She is a freelance dancer, assistant and choreographer, and has worked for companies including the Marco Santi Dance Ensemble, the Nina Kurzeja Company and Co-Laps.
